Cookie & Advertising Disclosure

How Qrivio uses cookies and similar technologies—including Google Analytics and Google AdSense— and how you can control personalized advertising. Last updated: 15 September 2026.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can remember preferences, measure usage, and—where advertising is enabled—support ad delivery and measurement. Related technologies such as local storage or pixels may serve similar purposes.

Categories we may use

Depending on how the live site is configured, Qrivio may use the following categories. Barcode and QR generation primarily runs in your browser; optional generation logging for abuse prevention is described in the Privacy Policy.

Category Purpose Examples
Essential / functional Basic site operation and security where applicable Session or consent storage used by Google Funding Choices (Privacy & messaging)
Analytics Understand how visitors use tools and guides so we can improve them Google Analytics cookies and identifiers
Advertising Serve and measure ads that help keep free tools available Google AdSense / Google advertising cookies

Google Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to collect aggregated information about device type, browser, approximate location derived by Google, pages viewed, and similar interaction metrics. Google processes this data under its own policies and any consent settings in force on the live host.

Google AdSense

Qrivio uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service from Google LLC. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites.

Personalized ads Where enabled and consented, ads may reflect interests inferred across sites.

Non-personalized ads Ads may still use contextual signals (page content) and general factors such as approximate location.

Consent Mode Before Google tags run, this site sets advertising and analytics consent to denied by default, then updates those signals after your choice.

Funding Choices For EU/EEA/UK (and similar regulated regions), Google’s Privacy & messaging CMP can show a consent dialog on this site when the message is published in AdSense.

Opt out of personalized advertising

You can control personalized ads from Google and many other companies. Opting out of personalization does not mean you will see no ads—you may still see non-personalized or contextual advertising.
